THE JOURNEY
A Mother's Quest
October 18th, 2010 began the journey for Sandy Lee, when her 36 year old son Darvis Lee Jr. mysteriously disappeared. The events involving her and her families search, led this author to know she had to tell the story of
"No Unturned Stone" - A Mother's Quest. A non-fiction book you won't be able to put down.
Some of her poetry is displayed at the end.
Sandy's faith is unwavering throughout this book.
A must read!
A short time after NUS was out, sitting next to a children's author,
Sandy came up with the idea of "Hermie the Bug".Her first children's book.
Darvis Jr., as a young boy named some harmless beetles Hermie bugs.
Teaches children to be kind to all critters.
Based on a true story!
Next is "Life, Love and Loss". It is a book, filled with 40 poems personally written by the author.
Your heart will definitely be touched!
"Remembering Grandma" is her second children's book.
A special relationship with Grandma.
A young boy tells the story. Touches lightly on Alzheimer's.

Sweet story!
"My Heart Remembers"
is a non-fiction book filled with vignettes, scanning a six year period of time,
sharing precious memories of a daughter and a mom with Alzheimer's.
As the American novelist and short story writer Veronica Roth has said,
"Sometimes crying or laughing are the only options left, and laughing feels better right now."
Sandy took her sense of humor mixed with her mom's sense of humor and learned
to laugh instead of living only with the sorrow.
A love story!
Most recent is another children's book, "Hannah Bannah".
It is a story about this authors adorable dachshund who is different
than all the other dachshunds she has ever had.
The story teaches children it is okay to be different.
God has made them special!
